Welcome to SACMUN’26!

SAC hosted both online and face to face conferences over 10 years. This year SAC once again will host the 10th conference on campus. SACMUN will be continuing to provide an open space where free expression is encouraged and all ideas and individuals are respected and treated equally. As the Executive Team of SACMUN 2026, we are preparing to host our 10th conference on campus.

We aim to provide quality experiences for all participants, checking all the right boxes as a team:

Our SACMUN team works to better the experience and merit of our conferences, improving further every moment spent putting these conferences together. We would like to celebrate our decade-long works this year with both new and familiar faces.

Distinguished Delegates, Esteemed Student Officers, Honorable Advisors, and Dear Guests,

It is our utmost pleasure to welcome you to the 10th annual session of SACMUN as the Secretaries-General. Over the past decade, SACMUN has become a prominent platform where youthful leaders can debate while learning about the power of compassion, collaboration, and a common objective. We have had the honor of hosting and inspiring 450 participants across over 20 schools, strengthening our unwavering commitment to encouraging dialogue and fostering internationalism among aspiring individuals.

Since its inception, SACMUN has strived to establish itself as more than a conference. Our objective has always been to raise critical thinkers and confident leaders who acknowledge that today's challenges necessitate innovation, collaboration, and determination. We intend to establish an environment for delegates to question conventions, forge sustainable resolutions, and embrace the responsibility of shaping tomorrow.

This year's theme, "Shifting Currents: Breaking the Cycles of History to Forge New Realities," captures the essence of our motive. History often repeats itself, with cycles of conflict, division, and forfeited chances resurfacing time and again. However, it is in our hands to shift those currents; to confront rigidity, to call into question the inevitability of recurrence, and to suggest alternative, radical, inclusive, and sustainable frameworks.

As we mark 10 years of SACMUN, we are grateful to everyone who has contributed to making this journey possible, and are eager about the legacy we will be proud to pass on.

Henceforth, we wholeheartedly welcome you to our expanding assemblage of SACMUN and look forward to being the catalyst of your collective discourse.
